You’ll only need a few tools: a jigsaw, router, and drill/driver. A 3D printer is also required for some addons.

For pre-cut kits:

You simply need a screwdriver or electric driver, that’s it!

For digital kits:

• Full-scale 1:1 printable PDF cutting plans
• STL files for 3D-printed parts (when applicable)
• A step-by-step, fully illustrated assembly manual (PDF)
• A complete list of required hardware and fasteners for easy sourcing

For builder kits:

• Full-scale 1:1 pre-printed cutting plans
• All required 3D‑printed parts (when applicable)
• A step‑by‑step, fully illustrated assembly manual
• All necessary hardware and fasteners (bolts, screws, knobs, hinges, laser‑cut metal parts, etc.)
• Seat foam, pre‑cut to shape
• A textile seat cover, cut to shape, with optional custom embroidery (name, call sign, or logo)

For pre-cut kits:

• All plywood parts, CNC cut
• All required 3D‑printed parts (when applicable)
• A step‑by‑step, fully illustrated assembly manual
• All necessary hardware and fasteners (bolts, screws, knobs, hinges, laser‑cut metal parts, etc.)
• Seat foam, pre‑cut to shape
• A textile seat cover, cut to shape, with optional custom embroidery (name, call sign, or logo)

Seat cover options:

Seat covers are available in a variety of materials and colors. A downloadable catalogue (PDF) is available here to help you explore the different textures, finishes, and customization options.

You can print the 1:1 PDF plans on A4 or A3 paper at home, or at your local print shop. Once printed, simply align and tape the pages to build the full-size cutting template.

The assembly guide will walks you through printing, scaling, and assembling everything correctly.

Absolutely. The cockpit is compatible with a wide range of peripherals, including Thrustmaster, Virpil, WinWing, VKB, and more. It’s also software-agnostic, so you can use it with any flight sim MSFS, X-Plane, DCS, etc.

Instantly. As soon as your payment is complete, download links will be available on the confirmation page and sent to your email inbox.

For builder kits and pre-cut kits:

All kits are made to order and follow a simple process:

Step 1 — Place your order

Complete your purchase through the website.

Step 2 — Submit your configuration

Send your seat cover and material selection (using the online catalogue) via the contact form or by email at support@woodcockpitdesigns.com.

Step 3 — Production begins

Once your selection has been received and confirmed, your kit enters production.

• Builder kits: estimated production time of 2–3 weeks
• Pre-cut kits: estimated production time of 3–4 weeks
• Shipping time after production: approximately 1–2 weeks, depending on destination

You will receive email updates throughout the process, including tracking information once your order has been dispatched.

For digital kits:

Due to the nature of digital products, digital kits (including plans, STL files, and manuals) are non-refundable. These files are delivered immediately after purchase and cannot be returned once downloaded.

For builder kits and pre-cut kits:

All orders are final once placed and cannot be cancelled or refunded. However, after delivery, you may return your kit within fourteen (14) days from the date you received it.
